| はじめまして。IC-731を手に入れたのですが、ダイオードカットを してみたのですが、巧くいきません。リセットをかけないといけないんではないかと思ったのですがリセットの仕方が判りません。色々検索等してみたのですが見つからず、前にアクションバンドに載ってたらしいのですがすでに売り切れ状態でした。どなたか詳しく教えてくれる方お願い致します、教えて下さい。 | ||

| Both mods shown for IC735 to open up the transmit frequencies say to clip diodes D33 and D34 on the "main board". This was a bad choice of words. In the IC735 service manual the big board you see when you open up the bottom of the case is called by Icom the "Main Unit" and it does have diodes marked D33 and D34. DO NOT CLIP THESE DIODES! Doing so will totally disable the XMIT function. You want to look at the PLL UNIT which is the board you see after lifting up the PA unit which is the heat sink unit you see when you first take off the TOP cover of the case. Clip D33 and D34 on the PLL BOARD. They are vertically mounted near the center of the PLL board and clearly marked by having bright yellow plastic "spaghetti" on the leads. This was done to make then easy to spot when converting the radio for MARS purposes and will no doubt be a popular mod for access to the new 60 meter band just authorized beginning in July. And, yes. I found this out the hard way. | ||
